The Colca Canyon in one day itinerary
Early morning (3:00 AM – 9:00 AM):
- Hotel pickup (3:00 AM – 3:30 AM): The day starts early with a pickup from your hotel in a shared van accommodating up to 18 passengers.
- Drive and breakfast: Travel in comfort to Chivay, where you will enjoy a basic continental breakfast. This is a perfect time to prepare for the day ahead and enjoy the early morning views.
Late morning of the Colca Canyon in one day tour (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM):
- Cruz del Cóndor viewpoint: Arrive at the famous Cruz del Cóndor, a popular spot to view the majestic condors soaring above the canyon. The site offers breathtaking views of the canyon itself.
- Optional Canyon edge walk: For those who wish, there’s an option to walk along the canyon’s edge to further take in the dramatic landscape.
- Village and viewpoint visits: Stop at the Antahuilque and Wayrapunku viewpoints for more stunning panoramas. Visit the charming village of Maca, where you can explore local culture.
