Itinerary
Cusco City Tour: Koricancha, Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pucapucara & Tambomachay
Choose between our morning departure at 9:00 AM or afternoon departure at 1:00 PM. Pick-up is at the Plaza de Armas in Cusco city center.
We begin the Cusco City Tour with a visit to Koricancha (by foot), the famous Temple of the Sun, where Inca stonework and colonial architecture come together.
Afterwards, transport takes us to the impressive archaeological sites around Cusco. We visit Sacsayhuaman, known for its enormous Inca stones and panoramic views over the city. Next is Qenqo, an ancient ceremonial site with caves and ritual areas used by the Incas.
We then continue to Pucapucara, the red Inca fortress that once served as a military control point, before ending at Tambomachay, famous for its water fountains and peaceful atmosphere.
The morning tour returns to Cusco around 1:30 PM. The afternoon tour returns around 6:00 PM.

Full tour description
The Cusco City tour is the perfect introduction to the ancient Inca capital. This easy half-day tour takes you to important archaeological sites in and around Cusco.
We offer two daily departures:
- Morning departure: 9:00 AM
- Afternoon departure: 1:00 PM
Pick-up is at the Plaza de Armas in Cusco city center. The tour is guided by a professional English and Spanish-speaking guide. The group is usually mixed with both English and Spanish-speaking travelers.
During the Cusco City Tour, you visit Koricancha, Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pucapucara, and Tambomachay. You will learn about Inca history, colonial architecture, rituals, and the importance of Cusco as the heart of the Inca Empire.
The tour finishes back in Cusco around 1:30 PM for the morning departure and around 6:00 PM for the afternoon departure.
