Background information about Manu National Park Reserved Zone
The Manu Reserve Zone is part of the Manu National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is one of the richest ecosystems in the world with over 1,000 species of birds and 200 species of mammals. Because the Manu Reserve Peru is so remote, only small groups with official permits can enter. This keeps the jungle wild and authentic. Many travelers call Manu one of the best Amazon experiences in South America.
